Current Year: In his first start of the PGA TOUR China season, made the most of his opportunity, opening and closing with 69s at the Sunning Estate Nanjing Zhongshan Open to T6 with Huilin Zhang, Christopher Brown, Rohan Blizard, Yanwei Liu and Daniel Nisbet. The T6 represented his first top-10 in what was his fourth start. Previous-best finish was a T47 at the Nine Dragons Open...At the Korean Tour's Dongbu Insurance Promi Open, parlayed rounds of 67-71-71-67 into a T4 with Daesub Kim, five shots behind winner Jinho Choi...A month later, added a T7 at the Descente Korea Munsingwear Matchplay, losing in the quarterfinals...Added a T10 at the Nefs Heritage, finishing at 5-under with six others.
2015: In his first PGA TOUR China Series’ season, he made the cut in all three of his starts but was only able to break into the top 50 once—at the Nine Dragons Open, where a final-round 69 led to a T47...On the Korean Tour, had a pair of runner-up finishes to highlight his season. At the Dongbu Insurance Promi Open, stumbled on the final day with a 3-over 75 to finish second after holding a four-shot lead over Junsub Park with 18 holes to play. Made only one birdie against two bogeys and a double bogey on Sunday to finish tied at the end of regulation with Inhoi Hur. Lost to Hur in a playoff...Second runner-up showing came in August. At the Korean PGA Championship, used a 10-under 62 to fault into a share of the 54-hole lead with Jooneob Son, Dongkyu Jang and Soomin Lee. Shot a front-nine 30 on his bogey-free Saturday, adding four additional birdies on his back nine. In the final round, shot a 5-under 67 but it wasn't enough to hold off Jang, whose 9-under 63 lead to a four-stroke triumph...Added a T4 in June, finishing deadlocked with Hyungseok Seo, a distant nine shots behind winner Taehee Lee at the Nefs Heritage.
